Heartfelt, revealing conversations only seem to surface at night. There must be something romantic about the moon that loosens our lips and makes us more available to our conversation partners. I am a fount of honesty when the sun goes down. Maybe everything moves with more purpose at night. Perhaps we are less self-conscious when the lights are dimmed. Regardless, Plato's faith in the sun was overblown.
If you catch two people on a bench passed midnight, lean your ear in. I'm sure their exchange is worth hearing.
